Всё, пора уже браться за волынку всерьез. пока вывешу квалификационные требования для первого и второго уровня в College of Piping.

Первый уровень. Сроку себе ставлю до зимы. За это время надо будет освоить все квалификационные упражнения на рабочих скоростях.
Level one certificate - piping (practice chanter)
Syllabus
1. Maintenance.
Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of following:
1) Dismantling the practice chanter;
2) Cleaning and drying the practice chanter;
3) Correct hemping the practice chanter.
2. Practice
candidates must demonstrate an understanding of following:
1) The scale
2) The scale to F with G gracenote
3) The scale to C with D gracenote
4) The scale to D with E gracenote
5) G, D, E gracenotes groupings
6) All strikes
7) Thumb or high A gracenote
8) The throw on D with A
9) Doublings on High A, High G, F, E, D, C and B from low A
10) Basic monotone exercises in Simple Time.
3. Tunes
Two tunes played from memory.
Tunes submitted must incorporate some of the embellishments from the exercises listed in section 2.
4. Theory
Candidate must be able to:
1) Name all notes and note values (duration)
2) Demonstrate correct placement of notes on the stave
3) Demonstrate understanding of what dotted and cut notes have on the note duration
4) Correctly write treble clef on the stave
5) Understand the purpouse of the bar line
6) Write out 4 bars of tune in 2/4 tinme signature by copying onto manuscript paper from set music provided.

Вот чем мне нравится подход college of piping - они в самое начало выносят уход за инструментом, а уже потом допускают до собственно игры на нем. Ну и теорией на первых порах не грузят. Только самое необходимое для практики.
